Why we do not publish per-procedure prices
Body contouring is not a fixed-price procedure. The same nominal operation — for example, a "tummy tuck" — can vary in scope from a 90-minute mini abdominoplasty to a 4-hour fleur-de-lis abdominoplasty with muscle repair and combined liposuction. The work involved differs by a factor of two or more. Pricing them identically would be misleading.
This is why we quote pricing after the video consultation, not before. By that point we know what is actually being done, how long it will take, what the hospital stay will be, and what is reasonable.
The published price lists you may see from other clinics typically describe the simplest version of each procedure. For the patient who actually needs the more extensive version, the eventual price is significantly higher than the headline. This is a recurring source of unhappiness in the medical tourism market. We avoid it by quoting once, transparently, after assessing what the case actually requires.
Typical cost ranges
That said, ranges exist. Quoting these openly is more useful than not. The figures below are in Euros and reflect typical all-in surgical fees as of 2026 — including operation, anaesthesia, hospital stay, drains, first compression garment, all in-Istanbul post-operative reviews, and 12 months of remote follow-up. They do not include flights, accommodation, or living costs while in Istanbul.
| Procedure | Typical range (EUR) |
|---|---|
| Liposuction (focused single area) | €3,500 – €5,500 |
| Liposuction (360°) | €5,500 – €7,500 |
| Mini abdominoplasty | €5,000 – €6,500 |
| Standard abdominoplasty | €6,500 – €8,500 |
| Extended / fleur-de-lis abdominoplasty | €8,000 – €10,500 |
| Arm lift (brachioplasty) | €4,500 – €6,500 |
| Thigh lift | €5,500 – €8,000 |
| Lower body lift / belt lipectomy | €10,000 – €13,500 |
| Upper body lift / bra-line back lift | €5,500 – €7,500 |
| BBL / fat transfer to buttocks | €5,500 – €7,500 |
| Mommy makeover (abdominoplasty + breast) | €9,500 – €13,500 |
| Gynecomastia surgery | €3,500 – €5,500 |
| Labiaplasty | €2,500 – €3,500 |
Ranges are indicative. Final pricing is confirmed after video consultation. Combined procedures performed in one operation are discounted compared to the sum of separate prices, since some costs (anaesthesia, hospital stay) are shared.
What is included
- The operation itself, performed by Doç. Dr. Erdal.
- Anaesthesia, including the anaesthetist's fee and all medications.
- Hospital stay (1–3 nights depending on procedure).
- All drains, dressings, and the first medical-grade compression garment.
- All pre-operative consultations (video and in-person).
- All in-Istanbul post-operative reviews (typically 2 reviews over 7–10 days).
- All medications dispensed at discharge for the home recovery period.
- Remote follow-up for 12 months — WhatsApp and video reviews at 2 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months.

What is not included
- Flights to and from Istanbul.

- Day-to-day living costs (food, taxis, incidentals) during your Istanbul stay.
- Travel insurance, including medical tourism insurance for complications.
- Secondary compression garments (after the first one, optional and inexpensive locally).
- Treatment of any complication that requires care after you return home and cannot be managed remotely — this would be billed by your local provider, not by us. The remote follow-up itself is included.
- Any subsequent revision surgery, which is a separate consideration discussed if it arises.
How Istanbul pricing compares
Roughly, all-in surgical fees in Istanbul for body contouring are:
- 40–60% of equivalent UK private fees.
- 30–50% of equivalent US private fees.
- 50–65% of equivalent Western European private fees.
- Comparable to or slightly below equivalent Eastern European fees, with what we consider a clear advantage in surgical infrastructure and post-operative support.
The total cost of the trip — surgery, flights, accommodation, living costs — typically ends up at 50–70% of the home-country private surgery alone for most Western European and North American patients. For combined procedures, the differential is larger; for small standalone procedures, the differential is smaller, and for some smaller procedures, travelling to Istanbul does not save money compared to local private treatment once travel and accommodation are added.
This is part of the honest pre-operative discussion. We will tell you if a small standalone procedure is not worth travelling for from a cost standpoint, even though we would be happy to perform it.
Payment
A deposit (typically 20–30%) confirms the booking. The balance is paid before or at the time of surgery. We accept bank transfer in EUR, USD, or GBP, and card payment with the standard processing fee. Cash payment in EUR or USD on arrival is also accepted.
We do not require payment before you commit to surgery, and the initial video consultation is free of charge.
Refund policy: deposits are fully refundable up to 30 days before the scheduled surgery date, and partially refundable thereafter except for unavoidable costs already incurred. Specific terms are set out in writing before any deposit is taken.
